A gastronomic evening with the participation of guest chef Ihor Mezencev was successfully held on November 28 in the Nevytsky Castle restaurant of the Verkhovyna Resort complex.
Ihor Mezencev, a well-known culinary expert in Ukraine and abroad, ambassador of the Ukrainian Gastro Show, author of many projects, is engaged in the popularization of Ukrainian cuisine. That is why he made exclusive dishes for the guests of the evening, which are culinary masterpieces of the new Ukrainian gastronomy. The evening’s menu was created from products grown on the territory of our country during this difficult time, while the very event took place within the framework of the Worthy project to support Ukrainian chefs.
Guests of the evening gratefully enjoyed beetroot and fennel mousse with cheese, croquettes with rabbit and cauliflower cream, river trout dumplings and shrimp bisque, beef tongue with parsnip cream and other dishes. Ihor warm-heartedly communicated with the guests and told about himself, the story of cooperation with our Verkhovyna complex, the dishes he made that day as well as the ideas he wanted to convey through his creativity.
As part of the evening, the Nevytsky Castle restaurant presented a new wine list of the establishment, which contains five dozen wines from different regions and was developed specifically for the establishment based on the recommendations of well-known sommeliers.
The outcome of excellent cooperation were favourable reviews and recognition of the restaurant guests, as well as the organizers’ agreement on future cooperation. Thus, we are looking forward to the next gastro evenings!
